Contribution to bolster National Fund

Asmara, 19 January 2021 – Nationals inside and outside the country contributed over 120 thousand Nakfa to bolster the National Fund to combat COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the report from the Ministry of Health, the Eritrean National War-Disabled Veterans’ Association contributed 66 thousand 639 Nakfa, workers of Hidri Company Anseba region branch 28 thousand 703 Nakfa, workers of Abashawul Kindergarten 11 thousand 462 Nakfa, Simret Cooperative Association in Asmara 5 thousand Nakfa, Gabir Cooperative Association of nationals in Lamza 2 thousand Nakfa, and Cooperative Association of nationals in Geshnashim contributed 2 thousand Nakfa to augment the National Fund to fight COVID-19 pandemic.

Likewise, a number of cooperative associations from various localities of the country as well as small businesses contributed 7 thousand 500 Nakfa for similar purpose.
