Rehabilitation of disadvantaged families

Barentu, 14 February 2021- The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare branch in Logo-Anseba sub-zone reported that 10 disadvantaged families in the sub-zone have been rehabilitated with livestock worth 10 thousand Nakfa each.

According to the report the contribution was made by the residents of the sub-zone and the objective was to enable the disadvantaged families to become self-supportive and productive members of the society.

Commending the initiative taken by the residents, Ms. Zenawit Gebremeskel, representative of the branch office, called for the reinforced contribution of nationals inside the country and abroad with a view to enabling disadvantaged citizens to improve their livelihoods.
