President Isaias Afwerki met with President William Ruto

Asmara, 07 September 2023 – President Isaias Afwerki in the morning hours today met and held extensive talks in Nairobi with President William Ruto of the Republic of Kenya.

Bilateral relations as well as global and regional issues of shared interest were the main topics of their discussion at the State House meeting.

On the invitation of President William Ruto, President Isaias went to Kenya to take part in the Inaugural Africa Climate Summit that took place from 4 to 6 September in Nairobi.

The Presidential delegation includes Mr. Osman Saleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
