Cultural Program in Connection with Martyrs Day

Asmara, 19 June 2024 – A cultural program organized by the National Union of Eritrean Women branch in the Central Region was conducted at the hall of the union’s central office. Veteran and young artists participated in the program.

In the same vein, students of Isak Tewoldemedhin Secondary School extended 20 thousand Nakfa to 20 families of martyrs. Similarly, 18 thousand Nakfa collected by staff members of the Internal Revenue Office was disbursed to 12 families of martyrs.

Members of the Warsai-Yikealo School donated 60 units of blood to enrich the blood supply of the National Blood Transfusion Service. They also extended 27,750 Nakfa towards augmenting the National Trust Fund.

Members of the ex-fighters associations conducted a popular campaign at the Mai-Diminet area in connection with Martyrs Day. Ministers and senior government and PFDJ officials participated in the popular campaign.
