Golij, 17 June 2010 – Land leveling scheme is underway in Sabunait administrative area, Golij sub-zone, through the government garage.

The coordinator of the program, Mr. Fitwi Dawit, indicated that members of the garage are actively engaged in the undertaking so as to accomplish the task before the onset of the rainy season. He further explained that a mobile garage would be made available so that the deployed tractors may not be out of function in case of technical problems.

The Administrator of the area, Mr. Hamid Omar Saleh, on his part highlighted the need for deploying tractors on time, in addition to distributing select seeds to the farming community. He added that about 75% of agricultural land has already been leveled, which in turn would help to utilize every drop of rain.
