In a meeting with representatives of community-based heath program, mothers and area administrators in Foro sub-zone, the head of social service in the NUEW branch in Southern Red Sea region, Ms. Jim’a Raki, said that fostering close coordination among community-based health program and area administration is imperative in efforts to prevent diseases and uproot harmful practice.
Foro, 20 December 2010 – In a meeting with representatives of community-based heath program, mothers and area administrators in Foro sub-zone, the head of social service in the NUEW branch in Southern Red Sea region, Ms. Jim’a Raki, said that fostering close coordination among community-based health program and area administration is imperative in efforts to prevent diseases and uproot harmful practice.
She called on the representative of program to properly checkup mothers and conduct campaign on ways of preventing various diseases. In this respect, Ms. Jim’a urged area administrators and village elders to demonstrate the necessary collaboration.
The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Omar Mohammed, on his part pointed out that mothers obtain more advantages from working as representatives of community-based health program, and stressed the need for promoting environmental sanitation campaign.
