The director general of Desks in the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Fisehatsion Petros, said that Eritrea would shortly achieve economic emancipation thanks to the implementation of development programs and putting in place of infrastructure facilities through the coordinated efforts of the people and the Government that would ensure the bright future of generations.
Keren, 15 January 2011 – The director general of Desks in the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Fisehatsion Petros, said that Eritrea would shortly achieve economic emancipation thanks to the implementation of development programs and putting in place of infrastructure facilities through the coordinated efforts of the people and the Government that would ensure the bright future of generations.
In a seminar he conducted to youth employees in Keren town focusing on the objective situation in the country and the region, Ambassador Fisehatsion indicated that Eritrea’s relations with neighboring countries and partners in the domains of economy, politics and diplomacy is progressing well. The principles and policies the nation pursues is now being emulated on the part of a number of countries, he added.
Noting that the illegal and unjust US-engineered sanctions resolution adopted by the Security Council against Eritrea constitutes an act of conspiracy concocted for a long time, Ambassador Fisehatsion explained that such a ploy has ended in utter failure thanks to the unflinching principle and unity of the Eritrean people.
He further pointed out that diplomatic endeavors made towards enhancing bilateral relations of partnership and rebuff the conspiracy of hostile forces have been quite successful. In this connection, he underscored that Eritrea would continue to work diligently towards ensuring stability in the region, as instability in the neighboring countries directly affects it.
Ambassador Fisehatsion further urged the youth to posses a vision of a bright future through keeping intact the nation’s historical legacy and patriotism of their forefathers.
The participants of the seminar highlighted the significance of such a seminar in raising awareness and voiced determination to live up to the expectations of the nation.
