Tiessa land has been allotted to 284 nationals in Sem’asem administrative area, Dubarwa sub-zone.
Dubarwa, 30 January 2011 – Tiessa land has been allotted to 284 nationals in Sem’asem administrative area, Dubarwa sub-zone.
During the allotment ceremony, the head of administration and finance in the sub-zone, Mr. Gidei Estifanos, stated that the program was successful thanks to the joint work on the part of the Ministry of Land, Water and Environment, the sub-zonal administration and tiessa land committee.
The head of the Ministry’s branch in Southern region, Mr. Hailemichael Eyob, indicated on his part that out of 330 nationals in the area, 284 who fulfilled the necessary requirements became beneficiaries of the program. The remaining nationals would receive tiessa land upon fulfilling the set requirements, he added.
