Commendable service being provided at Amatere Center

Mother and children are getting commendable service at the Amatere Health Center. Massawa, 27 September – Mother and children are getting commendable service at the Amatere Health Center.

Ms. Hawa Osman and Ms. Fatma Adem respectively indicated that the service being rendered to mothers during pre-and post delivery period is very satisfactory.

Mr. Semere Berhe, head of the center, outlined on his part the various health services being given to the local inhabitants. He further explained that around 600 pregnant mothers received pre-delivery care over the past 8 months alone, while 45 others underwent surgery in the course of delivery.

Amatere Health Center renders service to residents of Massawa town and the surrounding villages of Emberemi, Hirgigo and Degoli.
