Mai-Mine Sub-zone: Martyr’s monument Inaugurated

A Martyrs Monument constructed at a cost of 6 million Nakfa has been inaugurated in Mai-Mne sub-zone. Mendefera, October 18 2011- A Martyrs Monument constructed at a cost of 6 million Nakfa has been inaugurated in Mai-Mne sub-zone.

The material and man-power resources for the construction by the monument were covered by the inhabitants of the sub-zone, and around 40,000 man power participated in the construction process.

The construction such monument attests to the pledge of the public to honor the trust of the fallen heroes.

Government officials, families of martyrs laid wreath at the monument and certificates were handed to individuals who made impressive contribution in the construction process.
