Adi-Keih, 21 December 2011 – At an assessment meeting conducted in the College of Social Sciences and Arts, it was disclosed that major development programs including infrastructure facilities have been implemented in Adi-Keih sub-zone.
A report presented at the meeting, indicated that the tasks accomplished included construction of elementary and junior schools, additional classrooms for Adi-Keih Secondary School, and the installation of electric poles stretching from Hirgigo to Adi-Keih town.
Likewise, terraces and embankments have been constructed in various Administrative areas, besides the leveling of farm land and the cultivation of fruits and vegetables. The report also stated that the inhabitants of the Eastern Escarpment have built support walls and canals along the newly constructed Kohaito-Foro road. Moreover, land enclosure in 13 Administrative areas is playing significant role in ensuring animal feed.
