Habero-Tsaada, 4 January 2012 – The inhabitants of Habero-Tsaeda administrative area said that they have managed to improve their health status thanks to community-based sanitation campaign.
Commending government endeavors to ensure public welfare, they said that their awareness regarding the benefits of modern medication and sanitation campaign continues to gain momentum as a result of continuous lectures.
The head of administration and finance in the Health Ministry’s branch in Anseba region, Mr. Zekarias Ogbasilasie, said that 44 villages in the region have declared “clean environment”, and called on the inhabitants to make good use of the toilets now available.
The head of health station in Habero-Tsaeda, Mr. Mensur Abubeker, indicated that health information is reaching members of the public through volunteer employees, mothers and village health representatives.
