ENWVA receives over 830 bicycles in donation

The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) has received more than 830 bicycles along with spare parts in donation from its branch in Germany. Asmara, 4 January 2012 – The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) has received more than 830 bicycles along with spare parts in donation from its branch in Germany.

The Chairperson of the Association, Mr. Gebrebirhan Eyasu, pointed out that the donation made by members of the association in Stuttgart city and its environs   is part of endeavors to assist disabled nationals become self-reliant. He also expressed appreciation to the initiative taken by the said nationals.

Moreover, Mr. Gebrebirhan indicated that the donation would enable the beneficiaries to open shops in various parts of the country.

Reports indicated that the ENWVA branch in Stuttgart and its environs earlier donated water pipelines worth 17,000 Euro for Hanseito Agricultural Project.
