The newly imported buses with a view to providing efficient public transport service are making due contribution in alleviating previously encountered constraints to and fro Asmara, in addition to other Administrative regions.

Asmara, 4 January 2012 – The newly imported buses with a view to providing efficient public transport service are making due contribution in alleviating previously encountered constraints to and fro Asmara, in addition to other Administrative regions.

The deployment of the new buses is part of the Government’s endeavors to ensure social justice, reinforce economic growth and implement development programs in general, the beneficiaries noted.

Ms. Lemlem Woldai, one of the beneficiaries, said that nationals are presently able to get transport service without having to queue. Similarly, Mr. Jemal Abdu, a driver stated that the buses are modern as well as confortable, besides having enough space for passenger items.
