Operation Fenkil: reminder for strengthening in folds the national rebuff and development

Participants of the 22nd Anniversary of Operation Fenkil told ERINA that the commemoration of Fenkil Operation is a reminder for nationals to strengthen in folds the national resolute rebuff and development in view of the fact that the event is being commemorated at a time when Eritreans are standing on firm ground and resisting the unjust and illegal sanctions resolution against Eritrea.
Massawa, 12 February 2012 – Participants of the 22nd Anniversary of Operation Fenkil told ERINA that the commemoration of Fenkil Operation is a reminder for nationals to strengthen in folds the national resolute rebuff and development in view of the fact that the event is being commemorated at a time when Eritreans are standing on firm ground and resisting the unjust and illegal sanctions resolution against Eritrea.

Mr. Angesom Tesfamariam, an Eritrean from Oakland, California, said that although it was his first time to take part in the commemorative event, he was able to acquaint himself with the rich history and development achievements in his Homeland. He further confirmed that Eritreans abroad in general and the youth in particular are ready as always to work alongside their people and government in support to the overall national development programs and resolute rebuff.

Mr. Dominique Amanuel from Washington also said that Massawa is a vivid demonstration of the economic and social developments the country is scoring at a national level.

Similarly, Ms. Hawa Saleh, resident of Massawa pointed out that huge sacrifices have been paid by the people of Eritrea in making Massawa what it is today.

Participants also commended the services extended to them despite the enormous numbers that visited the city during the weekend.
