The Minister of Marine Resources, Mr. Tewolde Keleati, underlined the need to conserve marine resources biodiversity and other natural resources of the Red Sea, particularly by fishermen and other stakeholders.
Massawa, 27 February 2012 – The Minister of Marine Resources, Mr. Tewolde Keleati, underlined the need to conserve marine resources biodiversity and other natural resources of the Red Sea, particularly by fishermen and other stakeholders.
He made the statement at a meeting he conducted with Zonal Administration heads, leaders of branch offices of different Ministries, and other members of the regional Administration. Mr.Tewolde indicated that the staff in charge of the task should be given the necessary training to this end..
The participants of the meeting on their part noted the significance of working in unison and organization for the realization of the set objective.
The Administrator of the Southern Red Sea, Mr. Ali Mahmoud, explained that plans have been mapped out to fully rehabilitate nationals affected by natural disaster. He also emphasized that all nationals should relentless endeavors in order that the abundant resources of the sea be utilized for the reinforcement of national development.
