The inhabitants of Quruh Administrative area, Geleb sub-zone, said that the ongoing popular undertakings in the area are a stepping stone to further rural development.

Geleb, 12 June 2013 – The inhabitants of Quruh Administrative area, Geleb sub-zone, said that the ongoing popular undertakings in the area are a stepping stone to further rural development.

They also indicated that the community is engaged in the construction of a school and dirt road, and that they have become beneficiaries of various social service facilities following their resort to community-based style of living.

Among the inhabitants, Ms. Saedia Mohammed-Nur, Ms. Kierba Suleiman, Mr. Guduf Mohammed Tekhlies and Mr. Zied Mohammed-Seid explained that the community-led venture has already given rise to new transport outreach to some areas in the locality.

Mr. Adem Ejel, Administrator of the area, pointed out that the inhabitants have been conducting sustained undertakings, and that drainage canals have been built and pot holes filled during the construction and renovation of roads.
