The Administration of Ginda sub-zone has called for enhanced parental and teacher role as regards promoting student competence. It made the call at a joint meeting with teachers, Area administrators and heads of line ministry branches, during which it was stated that an integrated input is a significant prerequisite to this end.

Ginda, 18 September 2013 – The Administration of Ginda sub-zone has called for enhanced parental and teacher role as regards promoting student competence. It made the call at a joint meeting with teachers, Area administrators and heads of line ministry branches, during which it was stated that an integrated input is a significant prerequisite to this end.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Saleh Ahmed, head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, noted the vitality of reinforcing tripartite communication among students, teachers and parents vis-à-vis follow-up of parents on students’ academic pursuit, besides the need of conducting necessary promotional activities on regular basis. He further disclosed that future undertakings would focus on furthering the impact of adult education program and reinforcement of clubs of readers as well as creative students, among others.

Mr. Omar Mahmoud, head of the Ministry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region, called on teachers to step up participation in national endeavors of nurturing dynamic students, and Area administrators as well as parents to extend a helping hand towards the realization of the goal.
