The Administration of the Boarding School in Asmat, Anseba region, indicated that efforts are being exerted to strengthen its service.
Asmat, 16 November 2013 – The Administration of the Boarding School in Asmat, Anseba region, indicated that efforts are being exerted to strengthen its service.The remark was made at a meeting with the sub-zonal Administrators, Area administrators and parents’ committees from the sub-zones of Asmat, kerkebet, Halhal and Sel’a.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tesfamichael Gede, director of the school, explained that it has been witnessing all-round development over the past 6 years with a commendable impact as regards raising school registration, especially in connection with females. He further outlined that the school Administration’s plan focuses on a move towards attaining higher service quality, and called for community input pertaining to raising the capacity of its laboratory and library.
Reports indicate that the students in the Boarding School are from Asmat, Kerkebet and Sel’a sub-zones, and the role of Area as well as sub-zonal Administrators was described vital in providing added impetus to the participation of children in education.
The participants of the meeting expressed readiness to collaborate in the process to upgrade the school’s capacity.
