Inhabitants of Adi-Niamin reiterate readiness to step up participation in national development programs
The inhabitants of Adi-Niamin, Logo-Anseba Sub zone, have reiterated readiness to step up participation in national development programs. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted with local Administrators.
Asmara, 19 February 2014 – The inhabitants of Adi-Niamin, Logo-Anseba Sub zone, have reiterated readiness to step up participation in national development programs. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted with local Administrators.
They pointed out that remarkable accomplishment has already been registered in various domains, and expressed readiness to exert more endeavors this year to this end.
Mr. Isak Tuum, Administrator of Logo Anseba Sub-zone, explained that increased popular participation in development programs has a significant impact. He further called on the inhabitants to enhance participation as regards effective implementation of such programs.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Birhane Tsegay, Head of the PFDJ office in the Sub-zone, stated that initiative has been taken towards enhancing soil and water conservation, and called on the inhabitants to practice judicious utilization of the available social service facilities.
Likewise, Mr. Endrias Teklegergis from Mekerka Police office stated that collaboration of the community with Police members is vital in reducing instances of crime.
