Eritrean community members in Milan assert readiness to mount participation in State affairs

The Eritrean community members in Milan city and its environs have asserted readiness to mount participation in State affairs at a meeting they conducted last Sunday.

Asmara, 08 May 2014 – The Eritrean community members in Milan city and its environs have asserted readiness to mount participation in State affairs at a meeting they conducted last Sunday.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Rusom Gebregiorgis, the Eritrean Consul in Milan, and Mr. Girmai Habtemichael, Head of public and community affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in Italy, gave briefings focusing on consular activities and future plans. They further pointed out that the community members are due to demonstrate higher participation in the preparations to mark the 40th anniversary of Bologna Festival.

Professor Gideon Abbai also gave briefings to the participants targeting the unjust sanctions perpetrated against Eritrea vis-à-vis the popular resolve demonstrated against it.

The participants of the meeting reiterated readiness for higher national resolve, and exchanged views on a number of issues.
