Members of the Association of Fruits and vegetables farmers in Tessenei sub-zone have asserted readiness to boost production with a view to meeting local demand. They made the pledge at a meeting, during which it was stated that the farmers have been exerting commendable efforts to this end.

Tessenei, 15 May 2014 – Members of the Association of Fruits and vegetables farmers in Tessenei sub-zone have asserted readiness to boost production with a view to meeting local demand. They made the pledge at a meeting, during which it was stated that the farmers have been exerting commendable efforts to this end.

They further reiterated readiness to step up efforts for still more gratifying outcome.

Mr. Ibrahim Jim’e, Chairman of the Association, pointed out that the farmers have made significant impact through their products in the locality, and called for material and consultancy support on the part of pertinent bodies.

The farmers on their part noted the vitality of consultation with experts vis-à-vis raising production, and called on the agriculture experts to sustain collaboration in this regard.
