Community-based development initiatives described effective in Nacfa sub-zone

The inhabitants of Nacfa sub-zone indicated that communal initiatives are effective as regards implementation of development schemes.

Nacfa, 05 June 2014 – The inhabitants of Nacfa sub-zone indicated that communal initiatives are effective as regards implementation of development schemes.

They explained that popular undertakings foster effectiveness and facilitate implementation of such programs, besides the fact that they favor integrated work, community harmony and popularization of the culture of work. The inhabitants further expressed readiness to back up development programs for the realization of the cherished goals.

The regularly scheduled community-based development activities underway in the locality pertain to construction of ponds, and that the venture is aimed at meeting water demand.

Mr. Mohammed Mohammed-Nur Abdalla, Administrator of Abelo area, disclosed that the inhabitants would continue engaging in the communal program in a more effective manner, and expressed appreciation for the active participation of women being witnessed in the process.
