Adi-Tekelezan, 03 June 2014 – The inhabitants of Habrengaqa village, Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone, are engaged in the construction of a water pond in a bid to meet the growing water supply demand both for humans and livestock.
Mr. Brereket Gebremedhin, Engineer, in charge of follow-up of the project, stated that 95% of the undertaking has been finalized, and that the pond would make positive impact in enrichment of surface and underground water resource, in addition to becoming a means of irrigation farming around 10 hectares.
The inhabitants of Shindiwa, Jeretewa and Girat Fisuh villages have become beneficiaries of the water project.
