Members of Agriculture Ministry donate blood

In line with the endeavors being made to promote volunteer blood donation, members of the Agriculture Ministry donated blood on 20 August.

Asmara, 22 August 2014 – In line with the endeavors being made to promote volunteer blood donation, members of the Agriculture Ministry donated blood on 20 August.

Mr. Haile Kifleyesus from the Blood Transfusion Centre said that communal awareness is on the rise thanks to the promotional activities being made to this end, and noted the vitality of saved and secured blood as regards rescuing patients.

He went on to explain that the blood donation by members of the Agriculture Ministry is a continuation of similar initiatives taken by other institutions and nationals. Mr. Haile further called for active participation of ministries and other government institutions towards realization of the objectives of the Center.
