Awards given to winners of photo contest hosted by Ministry of Information

The Ministry of Information has given awards to winners who stood first, second and third in photo contest hosted by the Ministry in connection with the National Festival.

Asmara, 29 August 2014 – The Ministry of Information has given awards to winners who stood first, second and third in photo contest hosted by the Ministry in connection with the National Festival.

In a report presented by the review committee of the contest at Hager Media Hall within the premises of the Ministry, a total of 25 photographers with 63 photos participated in the contest. The first and second winners received 30 and 20 thousand Nakfa each, while the third winner received 10 thousand Nakfa.

Mr. Mokria Woldu, Director General of External Service at the Ministry, handed the respective prizes.

Those who stood 4th to 10th rank also received monetary prizes from the Ministry.
