The inhabitants of Gul’e village said that the health centre there is rendering commendable service.
Asmara, 24 October 2014 – The inhabitants of Gul’e village said that the health centre there is rendering commendable service. They also commended the endeavors being made on the part of the Government with a view to promoting community wellbeing on the basis of putting in place of health facilities and providing the necessary medicaments.
Mr. Ibrahim Hummed, Associate nurse, pointed out that stepped-up efforts are being exerted towards making available the required service to patients and pregnant mothers. In this connection, he explained that about 60 patients have been receiving service at the Centre daily, out of whom 40 are mothers receiving regular vaccination service, in addition to patients with Diabetic and Blood pressure.
Mr. Jim’e Omar, member of the Central region’s Assembly, stated on his part that most of the nationals admitted to the Centre are pregnant mothers and children receiving pediatric service. He called on the local inhabitants to raise awareness as regards realization of the set goals.
