Reports from the Eritrean Police Force indicated that instances of crime and traffic accidents have shown decline by 9% and 4% respectively in 2014, as a result of extensive promotional activities conducted for the public in general and students in particular.
Asmara, 16 January 2015 – Reports from the Eritrean Police Force indicated that instances of crime and traffic accidents have shown decline by 9% and 4% respectively in 2014, as a result of extensive promotional activities conducted for the public in general and students in particular. It made the remarks at an assessment meeting of the strategic plan of the Police Force from 2012 to 2014 and mapping out new action plan.
In the course of the meeting headed by Col. Mehari Tsegai, Commander of the Eritrean Police Force, in which senior heads took part, accomplishment reports were presented focusing on training course organized for members, seminars for the general public and joint efforts made in identifying criminals, among 0thers. It was also reported that properly worth over 22 million Nakfa was retrieved from individuals who committed crime.
Action Plan for 2015 to 2017 was adopted in the course of the meeting with the participation of all pertinent bodies of the Eritrean Police Force.
