At a meeting conducted recently in the port city of Massawa, the PFDJ branch in the Northern Red Sea region has mapped out work program for 2015 following an assessment meeting of accomplishments in 2014.

Massawa, 16 January 2015 – At a meeting conducted recently in the port city of Massawa, the PFDJ branch in the Northern Red Sea region has mapped out work program for 2015 following an assessment meeting of accomplishments in 2014.

Mr. Haile Tewolde, PFDJ Secretary in the region, pointed out that a number of development programs were implemented in the year 2014 thanks to the joint efforts exerted and called on the sub-zonal branches to strive for still more gratifying outcome.

He also indicated that the branch office would pay more attention this year to nurture common understanding, enhance active community participation in development, political, economical and social spheres, in addition to nurturing competent cadres and youth.

In closing remarks, the Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsegereda Woldegerghis, noted the vital role of PFDJ members as regards raising community awareness, and explained that the nation is standing on solid ground without falling victim to external conspiracies weaved to sap development endeavors.
