Eritrean Embassy in Riyadh holds annual assessment meeting

The Eritrean Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi-Arabia, has presented report accomplishments to Eritrean community members in the city and pointed out that it would exert more endeavors in nurturing youths who would popularize the nation’s cultural values.

Asmara, 17 January 2015 – The Eritrean Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi-Arabia, has presented report accomplishments to Eritrean community members in the city and pointed out that it would exert more endeavors in nurturing youths who would popularize the nation’s cultural values.

Speaking at the meeting, the Eritrean Ambassador to the country, Mr. Mohammed-Omar Mahmud, explained that persistent efforts are being exerted towards providing effective service. He also indicated that new identification cards would be given to the Eritrean nationals residing in Saudi Arabia.

Ms. Weini Gerezgiher, Eritrean Consul, on her part gave briefings regarding the Consular service being provided by the Embassy to over 37 thousand Eritrean nationals, in addition to similar services rendered in Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan and Oman.

In closing remarks, Ambassador Mohammed-Omar Mahmud called on the Eritrean community members to portray the nation’s correct image and nurture their offspring with virtuous qualities.
