Keren, 07 February 2015 – As part of the sustainable investment being made with a view to equipping youths with the necessary knowledge and skill, over 280 youths from Anseba region obtained training courses. More than 180 members of the NUEYS branch in Keren sub-zone obtained First Aid and Hair dressing courses, while 100 members from other sub-zones have received basic computer training.
Mr. Azazi Bereket, head of the NUEYS branch in the region, pointed out that persistent efforts are being exerted towards nurturing competent youths who demonstrate active participation in State affairs. He further stated that similar training courses organized to youths have borne encouraging outcome as regards improving the livelihood of the beneficiaries.
Meles Weldegergis, head of the NUEYS branch in Keren sub-zone, called on the youths to make good use of such initiatives being provided to them. A representative of the trainees on his part expressed readiness to live up to expectations.
