Development programs implemented in Kerkebet sub-zone base for better future: Inhabitants of Yakar’e

The inhabitants of Yakar’e Administrative area, Kerkebet sub-zone, said that development programs implemented in the sub-zone are a base for better future, in addition to improving people’s livelihood.

Kerkebet, 05 March 2015 – The inhabitants of Yakar’e Administrative area, Kerkebet sub-zone, said that development programs implemented in the sub-zone are a base for better future, in addition to improving people’s livelihood.

They made the statement at a meeting with the Administrator of Amseba region, Mr. Ali Mahmud, during which he explained that the Government is working on priority basis towards promoting improved livelihood of citizens. In this connection, the regional Administrator called on the community members to strive for higher organizational capacity so as to realize development goals.

Likewise, Mr. Abdulkerim Idris, Administrator of Kerkebet sub-zone, stated that the social service facilities being rendered have enabled the community members to lead improved living style, besides promoting community-based pattern of living. He further noted that educational service in the villages of Agmait, Hawan, Aquaideb and Harareb is making significant contribution to the livelihood of the inhabitants.
