The exhibitions being staged at the educational pavilion at the Eritrea Festival 2010 in the Expo grounds fully attest to the substantial investment being made to develop the education sector, stated festival participants.

Asmara, 3 August 2010 – The exhibitions being staged at the educational pavilion at the Eritrea Festival 2010 in the Expo grounds fully attest to the substantial investment being made to develop the education sector, stated festival participants.

The programs highlight the endeavors exerted and accomplishment scored as regards developing  human resource and cariclum, the competence and quality of education, expansion of institutions of higher education, putting in place educational facilities and upgrading curriculum, among others.

The participants further noted the investment being made that would lay solid ground for realizing the set objective, and commended the concerted action being taken in building educational institutions, strengthening education in the mother tongue, upgrading curriculum, publishing and introducing textbooks, improving teachers’ skill, developing libraries and pedagogical centers, among others.

They particularly expressed deep impression with the tasks being undertaken to ensure educational opportunities in remote areas which are bearing fruitful outcome.

It is to be noted that a number of high schools have been opened in the rural areas so as to ensure educational opportunities to all.
