Amsterdam, 15 July 2011 -Eritrean nationals in the Netherlands conducted their 10th annual festival with patriotic zeal under the theme, “United for the National Rebuff and development”.
The three-day festival in which thousands of nationals participated included a cultural village that portrayed Eritrea’s cultural and traditional values, sports activities, cultural designers’ show, as well as seminars on various issues.
In a seminar held during the event, the Head of the Economic Affairs at the PFDJ, Mr. Hagos Gebrehiwet pointed out that the people and Government of Eritrea are exerting determined efforts to and further strengthen the nation’s development.
The Government and people of Eritrea are implementing the set out development programs without being impeded by the hurdles encountered, and reminded the nationals to further strengthen their unity.
Also during the event, graduation ceremony of a number of academic accomplishments was held.
