Administrator of Southern region conducts meeting with community representatives in Adi-Keih and Senafe sub-zones

The Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Efrem Gebrekristos, conducted meeting with community representatives in Adi-Keih and Senafe sub-zones, and called on the inhabitants to sustain input backing national development endeavors.

Adi-Keih, 05 June 2014 – The Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Efrem Gebrekristos, conducted meeting with community representatives in Adi-Keih and Senafe sub-zones, and called on the inhabitants to sustain input backing national development endeavors.

He further noted the vitality of science and modern technology vis-à-vis ensuring food security, and urged communities to resort to effective use of land and natural resources.

Mr. Efrem stated that the dams being constructed in the region are expected to have significant impact as regards enriching underground water resource and promoting irrigation farming following finalization. He also called on the inhabitants to prudently utilize the available investment and educational opportunities.
