Shebah Area: Promotional activities making significant impacts as regards raising community awareness in environmental hygiene
The Administration of Ghinda sub-zone, indicated that promotional activities are making significant impacts as regards raising community awareness pertaining to environmental hygiene.
Ghinda, 06 June 2014 – The Administration of Ghinda sub-zone, indicated that promotional activities are making significant impacts as regards raising community awareness pertaining to environmental hygiene.
Ms. Fatina Kentibay, Head of social service in the sub-zone, indicated that the Health Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone is working on priority basis in a bid to promote environmental hygiene in the locality, and called on the inhabitants to foster follow-up on comnunity health through raising awareness.
Mr. Kesete Kahsai, Head of Administration and Finance in Ghinda Regional Referral Hospital, urged community members to resort to sustained and proper use of soak-pit latrines.
Mr. Afa Abir, Administrator of Shebah area, explained that such accomplishment could be registered thanks to the salient promotional activities carried out thereof which gave rise to effective implementation of 300 soak- pit latrines in the area.
