Training Center conducts Youth Week in Sawa

The Vocational Training Center in Sawa conducted youth week. The event witnessed the staging of extracurricular school activities including sports, cultural shows, photo exhibition, fashion show and oratory, debating and general knowledge contests.

Forto-Sawa, 05 June 2014 – The Vocational Training Center in Sawa conducted youth week. The event witnessed the staging of extracurricular school activities including sports, cultural shows, photo exhibition, fashion show and oratory, debating and general knowledge contests.

In closing remarks, Ms. Mensura Ismael, Head of the NUEYS branch in Sawa region and higher education institutions pointed out that the event is part of the activities which are consistently organized on the basis of a joint venture between the Training Center and the NUEYS. He further stated that the Week is aimed at inspiring the all-round potential and creativity of the youth and thereby raising their competence.

Likewise, Mr. Tesfalidet Tekle, Director of the Center, noted the vitality of the event vis-à-vis promoting student potentials in connection with extra-curricular activities, and stated that the Training Center would exert increased efforts towards organizing such events in a highly organized manner in the future.
