PHARMECOR obtains support from nationals residing abroad

PHARMECOR Eritrea, pharmaceutical and medical supplies corporation, has obtained drugs and medical equipments worth around USD 60,000 from nationals residing in the USA.

 

Asmara, 02, June 2014 – PHARMECOR Eritrea, pharmaceutical and medical supplies corporation, has obtained drugs and medical equipments worth around USD 60,000 from nationals residing in the USA.

The support comprises crutches, wheelchairs, OPD beds and medicines.

Mr. Yemane Zeramariam, Deputy Director of PHARMECOR Eritrea, said that the communal initiative is a continuation of previous support by the nationals, and expressed conviction that the facilities have significant importance. He also expressed appreciation for the nationals’ charitable gesture and called on fellow citizens to emulate the initiative.

Speaking at the handing ceremony, Dr. Petros Kahsai, representative of the Eritrean community who has been rendering free service at Halibet Hospital in Asmara, indicated that they would further engaged in joint research venture with the Ministry of Health.
