Central region: Administrator calls for active participation of local heads and village administrative committees towards realization of development goals

The Administrator of the Central region, Maj. Gen. Ramadan Osman Awliyai, has called on local Administrators and  village administrative committees to exert the necessary endeavor  towards the realization of national development goals.

Asmara, 16 October 2014 – The Administrator of the Central region, Maj. Gen. Ramadan Osman Awliyai, has called on local Administrators and  village administrative committees to exert the necessary endeavor  towards the realization of national development goals. He made the call at a meeting yesterday with the inhabitants of Berikh sub-zone, during which the regional Administrator said that development undertakings being implemented in different administrative areas have registered encouraging outcome as regards improving communality livelihood.

Maj. Gen. Ramadan also indicated that the election of Administrative areas and managing directors has been conducted in 13 sub-zones of Asmara city, and that a similar program would take place in the sub-zones of Berikh, Serejeka and Gala-Nefhi from 19 to 31 October.

Ms. Leul Asrat, Administrator of Berikh sub-zone, pointed out on her part that satisfactory achievements could be registered thanks to the active community participation in developments programs. She also reminded the local inhabitants to nominate fellow nationals for election that would serve them with higher commitment .
