Inhabitants of Gala-Nefhi sub-zone express satisfaction with initiative of land allotment

The inhabitants of Gala-Nefhi sub-zone, Central region,  have expressed satisfaction with the initiative of new land allotment and voiced readiness to demonstrate the necessary cooperation towards the  implementation of the program.

Asmara, 12 February 2015 – The inhabitants of Gala-Nefhi sub-zone, Central region,  have expressed satisfaction with the initiative of new land allotment and voiced readiness to demonstrate the necessary cooperation towards the  implementation of the program. They made the statement at a meeting with the Administrator of the Central region, Maj. General Ramadan Osman Awliya, during which he gave briefings on the land allotment proclamation and development programs set for implementation this year.

The Administrator went on to stress that due attention should be given to the task of proper allotment of the land to be distributed that would take into account future generations.

In the course of the meeting, reports were presented by pertinent bodies regarding development programs underway, besides conducting discussion pertaining to the repair and renovation of dams, construction of school compounds and other infrastructure facilities.
