Charge D’Affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in the Republic of Sudan holds meeting with Sudanese Deputy Foreign Minister

Mr. Ibrahim Idris, Charge D’Affaires at the Eritrean Embassy in the Republic of Sudan, held meeting on February 23 with the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Kamal Ismael, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations.

Asmara, 26 February 2015 – Mr. Ibrahim Idris, Charge D’Affaires at the Eritrean Embassy in the Republic of Sudan, held meeting on February 23 with the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Kamal Ismael, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations.

In the course of the meeting, Mr. Ibrahim conveyed greetings from the Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh and also stated that encouraging outcome is being registered as regards enhancing cooperation of partnership among different Eritrean-Sudanese Ministries. He further stressed the need for exerting joint efforts to further enhance the prevailing ties, and that expressed Eritrea’s readiness to enhance role in the domains of training and human resources development.

Ambassador Kamal expressed his country’s readiness to strengthening Eritrean-Sudanese relations on the basis of mutual cooperation in general and that of the Foreign Ministries in particular.

On the Eritrean side, Mr. Ismael Mussa, in charge of public affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in the Sudan, and Ambassador Al-Bukhari Al-Afendi from the Sudanese Foreign Ministry, took part in the meeting.
